Biography
Joery is a visiting researcher with ML@CL and an AI Research Scientist at Trent AI, where he works on applied and fundamental machine learning algorithms for optimising partially observable systems in the context of software threat assessment and cybersecurity.
He completed his PhD in the Sequential Decision Making group at Delft University of Technology, researching deep reinforcement learning and planning, including Monte-Carlo tree search, sequential Monte-Carlo methods, and model-based reinforcement learning. He holds an MSc from the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS), Leiden University.
