Biography
Raphael visited ML@CL from the Technical University of Munich, where he is a doctoral researcher at the Chair of Cyber-Physical Systems in Production Engineering. His research focuses on residual policy learning and deep reinforcement learning, the sim-to-real gap for learning-based control, and applications in autonomous racing and driving. During his visit he spoke at the June 2026 ML@CL research days.
